City Council President Darlene Harris is leading efforts to refund thousands of dollars, owed by the city, to area residents.
Nearly 900 people are owed money by the City of Pittsburgh in amounts ranging from $1 to $6,500.
Residents have until February 15, 2014 to claim these funds. The list of people to claim these funds is posted on the District 1 City Council website at http://pittsburghpa.gov/district1/.
If your name appears on the list or you do not have access to the internet, contact Council President Harris’ office at 412-255-2135.
Unclaimed money will, by law, be returned to the state of PA.
This is the third year in a row that Council woman Harris is leading the effort to return this money to the people.
