Northside business owners and residents gathered at the Priory Grand Hall last Thursday night for the annual Northside/North Shore Chamber of Commerce Holiday Gala.
The gala is held each year in December as the annual, black-tie event for chamber members.
“It was great. Participation was wonderful,” said Robin Miller, executive director of the chamber. “It’s a signature event for the chamber and for the Northside.
Guests and chambers members enjoyed live music by f Uptown Rhythm and Brass, a photo both with holiday props, dancing and a buffet dinner.
Chamber of Commerce President Eric Schuman, of Tucker Arensburg, reflected on the year and the many events the Chamber had, such as the community tailgate, first ever brew fest at Rivers Casino, golf outing and the many networking events.
“All and all, we’ve had a great year,” said Shuman.
Many in attendance brought with them a toy to donate to Urban Impact who distributed them to Northside youth in need.
“One of the things we feel is part of our mission is to give a little back in our communities,” said Shuman.
The Northside/North Shore Chamber of Commerce is a service organization that creates, develops and fosters a supportive climate that serves the interests of its members, which are primarily Northside businesses.
