Northside neighbors will raise a glass or two (or five!) at the Carnegie Library Allegheny Branch on Friday, September 28, 7 p.m. for the second annual Friends of the CLP- Allegheny Wine Tasting.
Tickets are $55/person and all net proceeds stay right in our branch to fund programs, to purchase extra materials and snacks for the kids, to replace heavily used items so everyone can keep enjoying them and other things that aren’t in the budget from the Carnegie.
The wines were chosen by Barsotti Wines and the food is being provided by LadyFingers Catering. You won’t be disappointed!
Last year we raised close to $3,000! With the Northside public schools being at the bottom of the achievement rankings in Allegheny County, every dollar we can add to this free resource is helping the kids.
