Troy Hill’s “Find a Bee” Pollinator Event
Interested in learning more about our region’s natural pollinators? Interested in helping build community green spaces in your neighborhood? Then stop by Troy Hill from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help participate in Troy Hill Citizens’ Inc.’s “Find a Bee” Pollinator Planting Habitat event. Volunteers will help seed, tilt and water selected sites and will receive training and education on how to improve pollinator habitats. Selected sites are Lookout St. Community Garden on the corner of Lookout St. and Eggers St. and Troy Hill Citizens Park on Claim St. and Hatteras St. Volunteers are asked to meet at Troy Hill Citizens Office at 9:45 a.m. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.

An Afternoon with Caroll Spinney at Rangos Giant Cinema
Want to meet the voice behind Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch? Caroll Spinney, a Pittsburgh native who voiced two of “Sesame Street’s” most iconic characters will be at the Rangos Giant Cinema for a special Q&A session on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13.
