Dominion Resources Services partnered with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy for the Community Garden Planting Days to help beautify the Pittsburgh region. Twelve employee volunteers participated in this year’s event at West Park in the North Side, approximately one mile from Dominion’s office at the D.L. Clark Building.
Every spring the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy coordinates over 12,000 volunteers to help rejuvenate the region by planting more than 200,000 flowers in 140 community gardens. Dominion volunteers had no problem getting their hands dirty by planting, mulching, and beautifying the community flower garden.
